It could be argued that over the past 30 years in Wyoming,
Bill Sniffin has had more words published than anyone else.
If he isn't the leader, he has to be among the most prolific.
An accomplished journalist, Sniffin has won more than 200
state awards, more than 50 national awards plus a Pulitzer
Prize nomination during his Wyoming newspaper career.
Tutored early-on by legendary Wyoming publisher Bruce Kennedy,
Sniffin started writing personal columns and hard-hitting
editorials at the youthful age of 24.
In the ensuing three decades, his work has appeared just
about everywhere. In 1993, he put together 65 of his favorite
stories into a book which he called The Best Part Of America.
It quickly sold out and he has another book planned for publication
in 2002 called High Altitudes, Low Multitudes.
Bill Sniffin is one of Wyoming's most honored newspaper columnists
with many state and national awards. Please click on the items
